Gone, But Not Forgotten 2003 90 NR 2.0 out of 5 ducks
Openly gay forest ranger Drew finds and rescues Mark from an accident, where Mark has amnesia. Drew seems drawn to Mark, and gets the doctor to let him take Mark home to recover outside of the hospital; the doc says okay. The two form a friendship and share an awkward kiss, a talk and then more kissing and the hot lovin'. Mark begins to remember things, and Drew telling Mark he was trying to kill himself -- hence the accident -- really jars things into place. Drew's meddling brother Paul and sister-in-law are a thorn in Drew's side, and manage to contact Mark's wife, who takes him home. There, we see an unhappy seven year marriage, and she finally confronts Mark about his homosexual tendencies (which he didn't remember, until now, when we learn he was going to commit suicide because wife found out). As Drew is suspended for a week for being seen in public kissing Mark (while in his ranger uniform), Mark decides a forest ranger's partner he could be, and goes back up to the forest to find Drew. Drew has since quit the forest service, and wants to re-open his dead parent's restaurant (the parents died in a boating accident, for which Drew blames himself). Drew and Mark are reunited, and Drew tells Mark he wants him as his chef. Moving film reel
