Ending
Andie is a writer trying to write an article the same as the title of the film. Ben is trying to land an ad account (for diamonds). So far, very blasť. Andie's objective is to do all the things a woman does to get dumped (to advise her readers of the womens' magazine), and Ben's objective is to make her fall in love with him (a bet so he can win the diamond account; his boss is overseeing the bet with two women who want the account). And since both are doing it for purposes of career advancement, all's fair in love and war. Andie ends up falling in love with him, but he finds out about the story and she the bet during a diamond event, where they both sing angrily at one another the song , "You're So Vain" (and sadly, neither sings well). Andie gets her article published, quits the magazine, and goes to leave town. Ben hops on his motorcycle, chases her across the Brooklyn Bridge, he catches up with her, and they return back to town together. Moving film reel
