A random crap film, showing the friendship of Mike and Scott, who each pass the time and make a few bucks as male prostitutes in Seattle, living on the streets and using drugs when they've got the money. Mike is introverted, gay, a narcoleptic, and obsessed with finding the mom that abandoned him as a young kid; he's also in love with Scott. Scott is from a well-to-do family, but likes embarrassing his dad, and is convinced he's straight. They end up going from Seattle to Idaho by motorcycle, sell that to a washed-up performer turned car parts salesman, then uses the money to fly to Rome. They check in at a farmhouse where mom used to be, but the girl there, Carmella, tells them she left for America a long time ago; Scott and she have the hot lovin'. Scott decides to stay in Italy with Carmella (they fell in love), and Mike heads back to Portland and goes back to hustling, and Scott and Carmella pull up in a limo near where the guys he used to run with are on the street. Fat guy Bob tries to cash in on Scott getting his inheritance, and approaches Scott. Scott tells him he doesn't know him, and and to leave him be... and goes into a brief soliloquy before Bob leaves; Bob dies after leaving. Mike ends up in Idaho, much where we began, and ends with "have a nice day." |
