Nemesis Game 2003 92 R 2.0 out of 5 ducks
Sara is an introverted college student. She avoids classmates, and prefers to spend time with Vern, who owns a comic book store and shares Sara's enthusiasm for mind games and riddles. They're separately invited to play a series of games, with the promise of learning the design (the meaning of life). It starts to get weird when people known to her begin to die, and she becomes a good suspect from the cops' viewpoint. The cops narrow in on Sara, want to take her downtown, but she wanders off, talks to the video camera, and turns to see Vern tell her it's all part of the design, and swings; the screen goes dark. In end notes, two days after Sarah was murdered, Vern confessed. He was found to be unfit to stand trial, and is in a mental asylum. Detective Jeff (Sara's dad) begins investigating his daughter's death after her funeral, looking for links to what took place the night she was killed at the abandon building. He found the blue spray paint can (Sara's clues were spray painted onto buildings and stuff), and the can had fingerprints on it from Vern, dead people Emily and Dennis, and seven unidentified others.
