Angela writes software from her home, isn't terribly friend-laden, and chats with a variety of folks online. Her friend, Dan, sends her a program to de-bug, and oops, he's killed in a plane crash. Angela finds secret stuff on the disk Dan sent her. Angela finds herself being deleted from computer systems, and having her information associated with cop computers as having a criminal record. She gets arrested, and a fake FBI gets her out of jail. Since she's figured out Jeff Gregg is the bad guy, saves the proof to disk, and they're again trying to kill Angela, now more than ever. Bad guy with the accent tries to shoot her, and shoots Ruth (the look-alike the bad guys have in there pretending to be Angela) by accident; Angela keeps running. She loops around and pops accent guy with a fire extinguisher, and watches the work of her computer virus delete data from the screen (not a very malicious virus, really). Jeff Gregg gets arrested, per a news report, which the FBI attributed their informant as Angela (yup, they identified her on the news as a snitch). Moving film reel
