Jennifer is an investigator in Portland, Oregon, specializes in internet-related crimes. When a tip comes in about a website called, Jennifer takes a look and sees live streaming video of a kitten being killed. Her boss thinks it is of little importance compared to other cases, but she thinks it is just the beginning; soon it's clear the movie served a purpose. Owen's dad committed suicide on the bridge and all the murders he commits is too avenge some wrong doing. Victim #1, which isn't aired, is the kid who uploaded dad's suicide video on various sites. Owen uses his internet account info to post on random blogs to promote The cat (victim #3) was killed because he was the beloved pet of the guy who sold dead dad's glasses on eBay. Victim #3 is the helicopter pilot who filmed the entire suicide, and he was killed by being given a drug, via IV which increased with the sites hit counts, that turned him into a hemophiliac. He bleeds to death from his chest wound. Victim #4 is the news reporter who just couldn't quit showing the suicide. He dies by having his hands and feet cemented to the floor and being exposed to many heat lamps, again, the more hits, the more lamps. #5 is Jennifer's partner, Griffin, his great "crime" is that he can't put a stop to people airing other people's tragedies on the internet. Griffin gets to sit in a vat of water as a chemical is piped in to turn the water to battery acid. The more hits, the more acidic the water. Jennifer is set to be #6, she is strung upside by a pulley system over a running rotatiller, and the more people who log in, the closer her head gets to the sharp blades. Jennifer starts swinging herself around the room to show the other officers, back at headquarters, that she is in her own basement, so they can rescue her. With a whole lot of swinging and stuff, Jennifer manages to get free and shoot Owen just as the others burst through the door. Jennifer crawls to the camera and shows the viewing audience her badge.
