We're leaving on a jet plane (a 747)... Some terrorists capture it en route from Greece to Washington D.C. Army intel guy David thinks their claims for freeing their leader is a front, and they're really planning to spray chemicals in the U.S. airspace, killing 50,000 to 100,000 Americans. An attack is planned and carried out mid-air, using a plane that is designed to allow crews to transfer between two planes or something. David and his team board the 747 to dismantle the bomb and remove the terrorist threat. The plane is about to be shot down when they Morse Code from the cockpit to give 'em 10 more minutes, even though the plane has entered U.S. airspace (d'oh!). David shoots a terrorist or two, finds the "sleeper" (terrorist who was acting as a passenger) and kills him. There's an explosion, oxygen masks deploy, the plane goes into a dive, but after the bomb is dismantled, the pilot is able to level the plane out at 3,000 feet, and eventually lands safely. We then see Jaffa, the mastermind, getting off a plane in Africa; close-up of some explosives on Jaffa's plane, and they're detonated. (The Executive Decision is that of killing Jaffa.)
