The Juror 1996 118 R 2.0 out of 5 ducks
Ending
Annie gets chosen for jury duty on a Mafia trial (she lives completely without an awareness of the outside world -- she was perfect), and she assures the judge it's no hardship, despite being a single mom. Amidst the trial, she sells an art piece (she's an artist, see), and the buyer is a charming man who never really has a name. The Teacher reveals that he was in her house the day before they met, and tells her he went through her stuff, and suggests she vote not guilty, and encourage the others to do the same... and by the by, harm will come to her son, Oliver, if she doesn't. Oliver figures it out, tells mom's friend, Juliet, and mom's proud of him for being so clever; but the Teacher knows that Juliet knows. The trial ends, and gee, he's found not guilty. The cops approach her and ask her to testify; she doesn't say no, but she doesn't say yes. The Teacher is also Juliet's new boyfriend, and he gives her a bunch of pills, and dies. She takes Oliver to Guatemala, he tracks her there, and follows her to an Indiana Jones temple thing, where some local types shoot him, and she fires the fatal shot after he tried to pull a second gun from an ankle holster, the end.
