Ending

Short version: President Kennedy is shot and killed. It's a conspiracy.

Longer version: The DA charges Clay Shaw with conspiracy to kill JFK. During the trial, the DA gets access to evidence around the assassination, and using that, the DA puts it all together to show that Oswald didn't act alone, tries to debunk the Warren Commission's report, that the "magic bullet" theory (that caused 7 separate wounds) was not plausible, the Zabruder film is shown for the first time and creates reasonable doubt that there is a conspiracy. The jury comes back that Shaw is not guilty. He goes home to his family, and the pre-credit notes list that Congress agreed there probably was a conspiracy, and more information should be gathered -- although that never took place, and now, most of the evidence is lost.

Note: This movie alone serves as a pivotal point of winning Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. If you need help, try here -- over a half-million indexed actors and links. Enjoy!
