A Woman Scorned: The Betty Broderick Story (aka Till Murder Do Us Part) 1992 90 PG-13 3.0 out of 5 ducks
Pick your own side of the story. Dan is a powerful attorney, Betty stayed at home to raise their four kids. As the marriage soured, Betty seemed to get more and more nuts, suspecting Dan of having an affair with his 20-ish law assistant Linda. The inevitable divorce occurs, he gets the kids, Betty drives her Bronco into his house, buys a gun, and lives to sneak into Dan's house and rifle through his things. He proposes to and married Linda, but refuses to wear a bulletproof vest when his pal suggests it; they do hire security guards, though. Betty ends up shooting and killing Dan and Linda. She tells a nut-house shrink she has regrets that her kids lots their mom, but she says she and the kids were the real victims. At her trial, the first jury was hung, but she was retried and found guilty of two counts of second degree murder and sentenced to 32 years to life; she'll become eligible for parole in 2010.
