The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift 2006 104 PG-13 2.5 out of 5 ducks
Ending
Sean just got kicked out of his 3rd town in 2 years for racing and is sent to Tokyo to live with his dad. Dad lays down the law and says no racing. Off to Japanese school, Sean goes and hooks up with Twinkie who is going to show him how things are done in town. After school, Twinkie takes Sean to a parking garage for some hot car action. There are souped up cars everywhere and a huge party going on. Sean looks across the garage just as Neela arrives, and is instantly in awe of her. Too bad she is DK's (Dust King) girl. (DK is the second in command for the mafia, and runs the town for his uncle.) DK notices Sean's passing interest in his girl and threatens him. Sean says how about a race, I lose I leave, you lose, I stay. DK laughs and accepts the deal. Twinkie thinks his new boy has lost it. DK's business partner, Han, offers to let Sean use his car, so he can see what the boy is made of. The race is in the parking garage and involves a technique called "drifting" that Sean is not familiar with, nor does he have a natural aptitude for. Sean loses badly and wrecks Han's car in the process. Han enlists Sean to be his pick up and delivery boy to help pay for the car to be repaired. Sean accepts, on the condition that Han teaches him to drift. Han and Sean form a partnership and become friends. Sean still can't keep away from Neela, and they get some food and go for a moonlight drift together, with Neela at the wheel. DK is not happy about it and beats Sean pretty good for it. Meanwhile, Uncle Kamata figures out Han has been skimming from the weekly take and tells DK to take him out. DK shows up at Han's place with a gun, and Han takes off in a car with DK and Sean close behind. Lots of chasing through crowded Tokyo streets before Han's car flips over and explodes. With Han dead, Sean and Neela go to hide out at his dad's house and DK shows up with a gun. Daddy has Sean's back though and DK takes off. Sean knows he has to set things straight, but decides to go straight to Kumata. Twinkie thinks he has lost his mind, but gives him the money that Han stole, hoping it will keep Sean alive. Sean walks into Kumata's place gives him the money and says he is sorry for making a mess of his town. He offers him a deal, he and DK will race and the loser will leave town. Kumata accepts and off they go to race. Sean wins, and DK leaves town. At the parking garage, Sean is now the new DK with Neela on his arm, Twinkie informs him that an old friend of Han's wants to race. Sean agrees and heads to the starting line. Dominic Toretto is at the line and the race begins, for Han's memory. Moving film reel
