| Leo, 24, just got out of prison, and needs a job. His uncle Frank gets him a job in the rail yards. But the rail contracts to maintain the city's train lines are fraught with corruption, as well as to sabotage the work done by other companies who also got city contracts. Willie kills a night shift guard as part of his sabotage projects, but it's Leo the cops are looking for... although he doesn't know it initially. Willie also manages to kill his fiancee, Erica, after they struggled at home, and she fell or was pushed over the second-story railing. Leo is cleared of his involvement, although it took a bribe to get there. The alarm Erica set off alerts the cops, and Willie is arrested outside of her home. There is a commitment that the corruption claims will be investigated and the results publicly aired. Leo testifies about the corruption he's aware of in his part in the whole thing, and he gives names into the record of the investigators. |
