David and Eglin are buddies who do street dancing, and are undefeated. They get challenged, by video tape, by a bunch of white guys from Orange County. Instead of "battling" for a few hundred dollars, the pot is $10,000 (both crews kick in $5,000 each); David and Eglin's crew loses. The two are also running drugs for Emerald, which works until Eglin has to go alone as David is hookin' up with Liyah (Eglin's sister). The two friends split and Eglin blames David for what happened. The crews split up, but the Big Bounce competition comes along promising the winner $50,000 and a spot in Lil Kim video. The white guys, David and Eglin all show up with their own crews to compete; David's crew is disqualified, and at the end of the competition, it's a tie. After pointing out that a tie isn't cool, they have a dance-off, winner take all, no rules. The white guys bring in some extra guys (which wasn't allowed during the rules-applied competition), and David offers to join Eglin's crew. Eglin says no, but the rest of the crew said without Eglin, they won't dance. The two friends make up, dance, and they win. Big surprise. |
